Melbourne Storm centre Curtis Scott accepted a two-week ban for punching the Manly Sea Eagles' Dylan Walker.

Scott, 20, punched Walker in the head and was sent off during the second half of the Storm's 24-4 defeat on Saturday.

While Walker is set to be sidelined for six weeks after suffering a fractured eye socket, Scott will miss just two matches.

Melbourne confirmed on Monday that Scott had accepted his striking charge from the match review committee and would miss two weeks.

He will be sidelined for clashes against the North Queensland Cowboys and Brisbane Broncos.

The Manly defeat was the Storm's fifth of the season and left them sixth in the table.
